A cat named Mono was born in Great Britain, astonishing people with its unusual structure. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This cat has six legs, a condition considered rare among veterinarians and linked to changes in embryonic development. Specialists call this “fetus absorption.”
In this process, one of the twins stops developing and partially attaches to the body of the other. The two extra legs on Mono’s abdomen appeared for this reason.
According to veterinarians at a clinic in Norwich, the extra legs are not connected to internal organs and are only attached to the skin. Therefore, they do not harm the animal’s health.
If necessary, they can be surgically removed in the future. Currently, Mono feels well, eats normally, and moves without problems.
Mono’s owner prefers not to interfere with the cat and does not intend to remove the extra legs. He said: “Mono has already become a local star.
We love him just the way he is.” This case serves as an interesting example of unusual conditions in animals and how their health can be maintained.
