Two rockets were fired from Gaza towards Israel
The Israeli army has issued an official statement regarding new rockets launched from the Gaza Strip. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

It has been reported that on September 6, 2025, two rockets were fired from Gaza towards Israeli territory. One of them was successfully intercepted by Israel's air defense system, while the other fell in an open area where no civilians reside.

According to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), this incident occurred after air raid sirens sounded in and around the city of Netivot due to rockets fired from the center of the Gaza Strip. The statement circulated on Telegram noted that the first rocket was destroyed mid-air with the help of the Iron Dome system, and the second rocket landed in an unpopulated area.

This event takes place against the backdrop of the long-standing conflict between Israel and Palestine. It is worth recalling that on October 7, 2023, the HAMAS movement carried out a large-scale rocket attack against Israel.

At that time, thousands of rockets were launched, militants crossed the border, and armed attacks were carried out against military personnel and civilians. As a result of this attack, approximately 1,200 people were killed on the Israeli side, and more than 200 were taken hostage.

Following this, Israel's retaliatory operations against Gaza did not cease. During the military actions, airstrikes carried out by Israel have caused significant losses in Gaza.

According to official authorities in the Gaza Strip, since October 7, 2023, the number of casualties has exceeded 64,000, the majority of whom are women and children. This conflict poses a serious threat to peace and stability in the region.
