Israel struck Gaza University from the air
Israeli forces carried out an airstrike on the Gaza Islamic University building located in Gaza City. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

As a result of this attack, the main building of the university sustained significant damage. Before the attack began, Israeli military personnel called on Palestinians inside the building to evacuate for safety reasons and took all necessary measures to remove them from the premises.

According to reports, Israel's security cabinet approved a plan on August 8 to seize the northern Gaza area. Following this decision, Israeli troops intensified attacks to relocate the Palestinian population to the south.

These actions have caused great danger and unrest for the local population. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated in his speech his intention to bring the entire Gaza Strip under control and openly shared the country's military objectives.

At the same time, the escalation of the situation in the region poses a serious threat to the lives of Palestinians and educational institutions. The attack also negatively affects education and social sectors.

Students and professors of Gaza Islamic University have indicated that difficulties may arise in the educational process due to their temporary relocation from the building. Additionally, local residents and international organizations strongly criticize this incident.

This further exacerbates security and stability problems in the region.
