France announced the official recognition of Palestine

French President Emmanuel Macron announced at the United Nations assembly that his country officially recognizes the state of Palestine. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

He emphasized the necessity to stop the war in Gaza and establish lasting peace in the region. Additionally, France and Saudi Arabia organized a summit within the UN framework regarding the two-state solution.

Several European countries also expressed plans to recognize Palestine. Macron highlighted the importance of releasing hostages and restoring peace in Gaza.

The European Union announced the creation of a new financial aid mechanism to rebuild Gaza. Israel criticized this decision.

Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas stressed the necessity of peace and stated that the Hamas movement would not participate in the governance of Gaza. These events are regarded as an important step towards stabilizing the situation in the region and ensuring peace.
