The Navai mine in Uzbekistan has been officially completed

The criminal case initiated against Russian rapper Navai (Navai Bakirov) in Kazakhstan has been officially closed. One.uz reports this.
The musician was expelled from the country. Local and international news agencies are reporting this based on information from the Kazakh Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Reasons for closing the case The Jambyl region police department stated that they closed the case on the grounds that the rapper sincerely repented for his actions and that this was his first offense. However, because the decision was made on grounds that do not justify the act, it does not mean Navai is innocent.
According to the law, this type of dismissal only indicates a lack of liability but does not signify innocence in terms of the accusation. Chronology of events On October 13, Navai was detained while attempting to enter the country through the "Qorday" checkpoint on the border with Kyrgyzstan.
When his car was inspected, law enforcement authorities discovered a prohibited substance. Subsequently, a criminal case was opened against the musician based on charges of smuggling narcotic substances and illegal possession.
On October 15, the court ruled to place the rapper in custody for two months. However, after the investigation materials were reviewed, the case was closed, and Navai was expelled from Kazakhstan.
