He strongly criticized the delays in the project and the quality of the work being carried out. According to the Korean Central News Agency, the hospital construction has been ongoing for more than one and a half years, during which many deficiencies have been identified.
Kim Jong Un accused the heads of the Cabinet of Ministers and high-ranking officials at the construction headquarters of mismanagement and irresponsibility. Their practices involved disorder, and starting work without budget approval resulted in significant financial losses.
The leader is accused of not adhering to state financial discipline. Additionally, Kim Jong Un criticized the officials for their lack of political maturity.
However, he gave a somewhat positive assessment of the quality of the work done during the construction process and highlighted the hospital's architectural style and functionality in a positive light. This situation was regarded by the leader as a matter requiring serious attention.
