North Korean leader Kim Jong Un visited the construction site of a general hospital in Pyongyang and personally inspected the ongoing work. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The country's Korea Central News Agency provided official information about this. The hospital construction, which has been ongoing for more than one and a half years, became the subject of harsh criticism from the country's leader.
According to Kim Jong Un, these delays are related to the personal interests and excessive demands of certain high-ranking officials, as well as the poor organizational work of the Cabinet of Ministers and the joint construction headquarters. He criticized the unauthorized commencement of construction work without budget approval, disregarding state financial discipline.
This situation not only caused significant material losses but also led to the project's failure to be completed within the designated timeframe. Kim Jong Un blamed the responsible persons for indiscipline and lack of political maturity.
Additionally, the leader highly praised the hospital's architectural design and functional aspects. He emphasized that this project is one of the important steps in developing the country's healthcare system.
Kim Jong Un's visit once again demonstrated the importance of state control and discipline issues in North Korea. This situation indicates the necessity of taking serious measures to improve efficiency in construction and other sectors in the country.
