A major infrastructure project is underway in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
For the first time in the history of the country's metro system, a two-story metro station is being constructed. According to Mamed Rizaev, a representative of the “Baku Metro” press service, the new station named B-4 will be put into operation by the end of next year.
The main distinctive feature of this station is that it is being built in a two-story design. Currently, more than 80 percent of the construction has been completed.
This gives confidence that the station will be launched within the scheduled timeframe. The B-4 station will be the fifth stop on the purple line and will be registered as the 28th station in the metro system.
Since it is located between the Heydar Aliyev Sports Complex and the Clinical Medical Center, it is expected to provide additional convenience for passengers. According to local experts, the new station will not only ease passenger flow in the capital but also mark a new stage in the architectural and technical development of the Baku metro.
This project will contribute to further development of the city's infrastructure and provide the population with quality transport services.
