Official information has been released about the ban on deliberately negative posts and opinions on social media in China. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to Reuters agency, a two-month special campaign has been launched by the Cybersecurity Administration. Within the framework of this campaign, social media platforms, short video platforms, streaming services, and comment sections will be under intensified supervision.
According to the information, the plan is not only against false news or materials calling for violence, but also bans posts that promote excessive pessimism, hopelessness, self-deprecating statements, and violent scenes created with the help of artificial intelligence. Platforms or individuals distributing such content may be held accountable.
Furthermore, this is not the first time such an initiative has been implemented, as Beijing has launched at least five similar campaigns since 2021. These measures are aimed at reducing negative influences on social media.
