The world's tallest suspension bridge opened in China
The world's tallest suspension bridge has opened in China. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

In the mountainous region of Guizhou province, the tallest and largest suspension bridge in history has been launched. This structure has amazed not only the country's population but also engineers and tourists worldwide.

The bridge construction took three years and nine months. The project was allocated 2 billion yuan, approximately 280 million dollars.

Thanks to the new bridge, travel time has been reduced from two hours to two minutes. This not only saves time but also reduces transportation costs.

The main span of the bridge is 1,420 meters long, with a total length reaching 2,890 meters. Its height is 625 meters.

This figure is almost nine times taller than the famous Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. The bridge is entirely built from steel trusses and was constructed in a complex mountainous area, posing a significant challenge for engineers.

Nevertheless, by utilizing modern technologies and expertise, the world's strongest and aesthetically remarkable bridge was created. Guizhou province is known as a center for bridge construction.

Previously, the two tallest bridges in the world were also built here. Currently, the province has more than 30,000 various bridges.

For this reason, this region is called the "homeland of bridges." This new bridge will not only develop transport infrastructure but also strengthen the regional economy.
