A new large skyscraper named after Donald Trump has begun construction in Saudi Arabia. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Dar Global company, in cooperation with the Trump Organization, is implementing a project called Trump Plaza Jeddah in the center of Jeddah city. This complex is being built with an investment of one billion dollars.
It will include high-quality residences, modern apartments, Class A offices, and exclusive townhouses. According to Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of the Trump Organization, the Trump Plaza Jeddah project serves to expand activities in Saudi Arabia.
He emphasized that the goal is to create a world-class facility combining hotel services, comfortable living conditions, and a developed business environment. The exact launch date of the project has not yet been announced.
The project is being implemented against the backdrop of rapid growth in the Saudi Arabian real estate market. In 2024 alone, the country has allocated 1.3 trillion dollars in investments for the construction of over one million new homes and more than seven million square meters of retail and office buildings.
Additionally, the Trump family is leading the construction of another skyscraper complex in Saudi Arabia called Trump Tower Jeddah. This luxurious building is located on the Red Sea coast and is planned to be commissioned in 2028.
During Donald Trump's second presidential term, Arab countries have been implementing commercial projects and large investments to attract his attention. In May 2023, contracts worth 600 billion dollars were signed between Saudi Arabia and the USA in Riyadh.
Furthermore, reports have circulated that Trump was gifted a luxury airplane worth 400 million dollars from the neighboring state of Qatar. These developments serve to further strengthen Trump's economic and political influence in the region.
