Although there are still ten days left before the announcement of the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize winner, US President Donald Trump has already openly stated that this prestigious award should be given to him. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
With this statement, he once again drew public attention to himself. On September 30, at a meeting held at the Quantico military base in Virginia, President Donald Trump spoke and emphasized that the Nobel Peace Prize should be awarded not to him personally, but to America.
In his opinion, if this award is not given to him, it would be an insult to the United States. In his speech, Trump said that during his presidency he implemented a number of initiatives aimed at ensuring peace.
He highlighted his active participation in resolving conflicts in regions such as India and Pakistan, Egypt and Ethiopia, Serbia and Kosovo, and repeatedly stated that he ended "seven wars." Meanwhile, in New York City, within the framework of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also answered journalists' questions.
According to Zelensky, if Trump succeeds in ending the war with Russia, he can be nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. He emphasized that ending the war is an incredible mission and that only Trump has such an opportunity.
In response to DW correspondent's question, "Could Kyiv nominate you for the Nobel Prize?" Trump confidently replied, "Why couldn't that be?" Thus, although some time remains before the announcement of the Nobel Prize winner, political controversies and Trump's sharp statements on this issue are being actively discussed worldwide.
This situation remains at the center of attention as an important event in peace efforts and international politics.
