Moroccan youth resolve their protests peacefully
Moroccan Prime Minister Aziz Akhannouch announced his readiness to resolve the youth protests in the country peacefully. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

He emphasized that the protests covered at least 11 cities and stated that all issues can be resolved through open and sincere dialogue. Akhannouch said the government is familiar with the demands put forward by the youth and is ready to hold negotiations with them.

The protests were sparked by the Gen Z 212 movement, initially focusing on demands for reforms in the education and healthcare systems. Later, demonstrators opposed the large budget expenditures allocated for preparations for the 2030 FIFA World Cup.

According to the Ministry of Interior, three people died and more than 350 were injured during the unrest. The government is taking all measures to control the situation and stabilize the circumstances.

It is emphasized that resolving problems through dialogue and peaceful means is important.
