US President Donald Trump announced that HAMAS has been given a last chance by the US to accept the proposed agreement by 6:00 PM on October 5 (3:00 AM on October 6, Tashkent time). This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to him, if this agreement is not realized, serious consequences will arise for HAMAS. In his social media statement, Trump emphasized that all countries have approved the agreement and warned that if the last opportunity is not taken, HAMAS will face serious problems.
Earlier, Trump had announced a peace initiative aimed at stopping the war in the Gaza Strip. This initiative includes immediate cessation of hostilities, exchanging hostages for Palestinian prisoners, gradual withdrawal of Israeli troops from Gaza, disarming HAMAS, and establishing a committee under international supervision.
If HAMAS does not accept this plan, the US has stated its full support for Israeli military actions. Trump’s initiative has also been supported by Turkey, Qatar, Jordan, UAE, Indonesia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt.
These countries have expressed their support not only for the plan to stop the Gaza war and restore the region but also for measures aimed at preventing the forced displacement of Palestinians. Additionally, the Palestinian Authority has positively received Trump’s peace initiative and expressed readiness to work with the US and other partners to reach a comprehensive agreement.
This initiative is considered important not only for Gaza but for ensuring peace throughout the entire region. Many countries have decided to act together to support Trump’s new peace initiative and create new opportunities for resolving international issues.
This is regarded as a significant step toward strengthening stability and peace in the region.
