
According to the sample survey of households by the National Statistics Committee, the share of women using the internet in Uzbekistan reached 93.1 percent in January-August 2025. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
During the same period, the rate of internet usage among men reached 95.3 percent. These figures clearly reflect the gender distribution among internet users.
Over the years, the share of women using the internet has increased significantly. For example, in 2021 this figure was 72.6 percent, in 2022 it rose to 81 percent, in 2023 to 87.3 percent, and in 2024 to 92.4 percent.
In January-August 2025, the level of internet usage among women increased to 93.1 percent. The share of men using the internet is also increasing year by year.
In 2021, this figure was 80.6 percent, in 2022 it was 86.9 percent, in 2023 it reached 90.9 percent, and in 2024 it rose to 94.2 percent. In the first eight months of 2025, 95.3 percent of men actively used the internet.
Overall, the level of internet usage is steadily increasing among both genders. Although the gap between men and women is small, interest in digital technologies and internet services is growing stronger.
This situation indicates the widespread adoption of digital technologies among the general public. Additionally, the expansion of internet usage is positively impacting social and economic development.
