US President Donald Trump is gradually trying to distance himself from the war in Ukraine, and at the same time, a chill is emerging in relations with the European Union. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This was stated by Graham Fuller, former deputy chairman of the US National Intelligence Council. According to him, Trump has clearly expressed his position: this war is a matter for European countries, and the US will only participate in supplying weapons.
According to Fuller, America has left Europe to its own devices, which has caused discouragement among European leaders. The president's words, "This is your war, kids, good luck," were directed specifically at Europe and have caused dissatisfaction and concern among alliance leaders.
At the same time, Fuller believes that Europe has now become one of the most dangerous regions in the world because it often acts as a force that provokes military conflicts. This particularly applies to Great Britain, which has not fully freed itself from its imperialistic past and maintains Russophobia.
The expert emphasized that the European Union and its leaders are facing a complex situation in their relations. This is creating new problems in global politics.
For this reason, there is a growing need to further strengthen regional and international cooperation in the future.
