
Hungarian renowned writer Laslo Krasnaxorkai has been awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The Nobel Committee announced that it awarded him “for his reliable and profound work that once again demonstrated the power of art in the face of the horrors of the apocalypse.” The committee described Krasnaxorkai as “a great epic writer belonging to the Central European traditions from the era of Kafka and Thomas Bernhard.”
Laslo Krasnaxorkai gained wide recognition through his novel “The Satanic Tango,” published in 1985. Among his other famous works are the novels “The Melancholy of Resistance” and “War and War.”
These works stand out for the writer’s distinctive style and deep meaning. It is also worth noting that the 2024 Nobel Prize in Literature was awarded to South Korean writer Han Kang.
The award given to Laslo Krasnaxorkai once again confirmed his place in art and his creative achievements. This prize is considered one of the most prestigious recognitions in the field of literature.
