Pakistan's Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi strongly condemned the armed attacks carried out against peaceful civilians in Pakistan from Afghan territory. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to him, the firing into Pakistani territory by the "Taliban" forces is a blatant violation of international legal norms. The minister emphasized that these actions contradict international rules and standards.
Afghanistan is playing with fire, and if the situation continues, Pakistan is ready to respond appropriately to this aggression. Mohsin Naqvi also stated that Pakistan will never succumb to provocations but is prepared to take strict measures against any threat.
He called on the Afghan leadership not to disrupt neighborly relations and to ensure border security. The minister cited India as an example, adding that if Afghanistan continues the pressure, it will receive a fitting response.
In recent weeks, tensions have been rising along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. Disputes over border security, migrant flows, and armed clashes between the two countries have intensified.
Warnings have been issued that this situation could negatively affect stability and peace in the region. The Pakistani government has expressed its readiness to take all necessary measures to strengthen the border and ensure security.
It has also been noted that Pakistan favors resolving problems through dialogue and cooperation.
