
On October 11, a collision between two passenger trains occurred near the town of Rojnyava in eastern Slovakia. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to local media reports, approximately one hundred people sustained injuries of varying severity as a result of this accident. Interior Minister Matush Shutay-Eshtoka stated at the scene that preliminary information indicates the accident was caused by the negligence of the train driver.
It was reported that two of the injured are in serious condition. Five ambulances and a rescue helicopter were dispatched to the site.
Currently, the victims are receiving necessary medical assistance. An official investigation into the incident has been launched, and the causes of the accident are being thoroughly examined.
