In an interview with journalists while flying from Sharm El-Sheikh to Washington, Trump emphasized that the country has earned hundreds of billions of dollars due to tariffs. He stated that the implementation of tariffs has made a significant contribution to economic growth.

Additionally, on April 2, the US president officially announced the imposition of new tariffs on products from 185 countries and territories. Later, Trump made decisions to adjust tariff rates for certain countries.

These measures are being implemented to strengthen the US economy and develop national production. According to the president, tariff policy is an important tool for enhancing the country's economic potential.
