Elon Musk intends to end his activities in the US government: what is the reason?
Famous entrepreneur and head of the US Government Efficiency Department (DOGE) Elon Musk has announced his intention to leave his position in the US government. This was reported by the Washington Post, citing its anonymous source, as RIA Novosti agency informs.

According to the source, Musk's special government employee status will end in May of this year, and there is currently no information about its extension.

According to the publication, the main reason for Musk's decision to leave his government position is related to his fatigue from "unpleasant and unethical attacks coming from the left."

"Elon Musk is tired of the constant, uncomfortable, and rude attacks coming from the left against him. For this reason, he is deciding to leave his position in the government," the newspaper writes in its reports.

However, at the same time, Musk is not worried about the future of the DOGE organization he leads. This is because the members of his team have already shown high results in many US federal agencies and have managed to find their places, the publication writes. A senior official from the White House, who did not disclose his name, also praised the results achieved by the DOGE agency, emphasizing that the organization's efficiency "speaks for itself."

It is worth noting that the US Government Efficiency Department (DOGE) was established at the initiative of President Donald Trump, with its main task being "to reduce government spending and optimize the operational procedures of federal agencies." The Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, had previously stated that the DOGE office identified "surprisingly large" expenses that were not approved by Congress.

So far, there is no clear information on how Elon Musk's government activities will conclude and what changes will occur in the organization afterward. At the same time, reports on this topic are being closely followed not only in the US but also around the world.
