The Uzbekistan delegation participated in the opening of "Riyadh-2025"

The Uzbekistan delegation, led by the Chairman of the National Olympic Committee Adham Ikromov and NOC Vice-President Otabek Umarov, arrived in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, to participate in the opening ceremony of the VI Islamic Solidarity Games "Riyadh-2025". Members of the delegation were welcomed at Riyadh International Airport by Prince Abdullah Fawith Al-Saud, a member of the Executive Committee of the Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee. During the cordial reception, the parties congratulated each other and emphasized that participation in such major sporting events is of great importance for developing bilateral cooperation.

After the delegation's arrival, an official meeting was held between representatives of the National Olympic Committee and the leadership of the Islamic Games Organizing Committee. During the meeting, issues of strengthening cooperation in the field of sports, developing sports programs for the younger generation, and organizing joint training camps were discussed.
