An Artificial Intelligence Center will be built in Kazakhstan
The government of Kazakhstan recently announced a project aimed at becoming a leader in the field of artificial intelligence in Central Asia, in collaboration with the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development and Freedom Holding Corp. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Within this initiative, a sovereign data center will be established based on advanced infrastructure provided by the US company NVIDIA.

The project will be implemented in several stages. The main part of the project is the construction and launch of the sovereign artificial intelligence center.

Freedom Holding Corp. will take responsibility for managing this center and will invest 2 billion US dollars into the project.

An area with an electric capacity of 100 MW will be allocated in Kazakhstan for the center. The government of Kazakhstan is working on creating the necessary legal and regulatory conditions for the project.

Additionally, a special academy and research laboratories focused on artificial intelligence are planned to be established. These institutions will serve to train a new generation of engineers and scientists in the field of artificial intelligence.

Jaslan Madiev, Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan and Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development, evaluated the cooperation with NVIDIA as an important step in implementing the country's artificial intelligence strategy. He emphasized that the sovereign artificial intelligence ecosystem will contribute to strengthening the economy, increasing competitiveness, and creating new opportunities in the region.

Timur Turlov, CEO of Freedom Holding Corp., noted that the combination of the company's experience, NVIDIA's technological capabilities, and the government's strategic plans in this project will lay the foundation for innovative development in the field of artificial intelligence.

This initiative is expected to strengthen Kazakhstan's position in the global artificial intelligence market and contribute to the long-term development of Central Asia. This collaboration is an important step aimed at forming a unified artificial intelligence ecosystem for the rapid development of the digital economy in the region.
