Trump promised 2000 dollars to every American
Former US President Donald Trump announced a plan to share the revenue from the country's customs duties with the population. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

According to him, each American citizen could receive a “dividend” of at least 2000 dollars. Trump wrote about this on his Truth Social page on November 9.

Trump emphasized that the US is earning trillions of dollars through customs duties and plans to use these funds to reduce the country's 37 trillion dollar national debt. He also noted that American industry is recovering, with factories and plants restarting operations.

According to Trump, except for high-income citizens, each American is expected to receive a payment of at least 2000 dollars. However, according to the German news agency Dpa, Trump has mentioned this proposal several times before, but so far no practical mechanism or legislative initiative has been developed.

Experts evaluate this statement as a political move. Despite Trump's claims of “near-zero inflation,” official statistics show that the inflation rate in the US is currently around 3 percent.

Additionally, rental prices in major cities, including New York and Los Angeles, remain high. There are also concerns in financial markets.

In particular, the risk of an “investment bubble” is increasing regarding shares of large companies operating in the field of artificial intelligence. According to the Dpa agency's conclusion, this situation could pose a serious threat to pension funds, as a large part of the population tries to secure their future through these shares.

Trump, in his statements, emphasizes strengthening the country's economic stability and prioritizing the interests of the American working class. He noted that the main goal of this plan is to “create real rewards for ordinary citizens.”
