New regulations have been established regarding the operation of weddings and entertainment venues in Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to Qamchibek Tashiyev, head of the State Committee for National Security, strict compliance with laws and government decisions to stop events and venue activities after 22:00 is mandatory. In accordance with this rule, weddings, festive events, as well as the activities of cafes, restaurants, and nightclubs must end no later than 22:00.
Tashiyev noted that although the decision has been officially adopted, the level of compliance in some regions is low. For example, one of the weddings recently held in Bishkek lasted until midnight, and in Jalal-Abad, an event extended until 00:00.
These cases are considered violations of the law. According to the official, law enforcement should be monitored by local self-government bodies.
However, it was emphasized that many regional leaders are not fulfilling this responsibility. Tashiyev gave strict instructions to local leaders, stressing the necessity to stop all events and venue activities after 22:00.
If the rules are violated, instructions have been given to cut off electricity supply. These measures have been adopted in Kyrgyzstan to ensure public order, maintain peace, and protect citizens' right to rest.
