Artyom, a young man living in Saint Petersburg, became deeply involved in computer games and developed a habit of drinking energy drinks to stay alert. Initially, he drank one can per day, but later he began consuming 3–5 cans on an empty stomach.
As a result, one day he was hospitalized due to severe abdominal pain, vomiting, and nausea. Doctors diagnosed him with pancreatitis.
Even after treatment, the illness recurred, and a cyst developed in his pancreas. When he was hospitalized for the third time, his condition worsened further.
Purulent necrosis developed in the pancreas, his body became poisoned, and as a result, his legs stopped functioning. Currently, Artyom is undergoing rehabilitation and relearning how to walk.
