Energy drinks led a young man to disability
A 22-year-old man in Russia who consumed energy drinks excessively faced severe health problems. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Artyom, a young man living in Saint Petersburg, became deeply involved in computer games and developed a habit of drinking energy drinks to stay alert. Initially, he drank one can per day, but later he began consuming 3–5 cans on an empty stomach.

As a result, one day he was hospitalized due to severe abdominal pain, vomiting, and nausea. Doctors diagnosed him with pancreatitis.

Even after treatment, the illness recurred, and a cyst developed in his pancreas. When he was hospitalized for the third time, his condition worsened further.

Purulent necrosis developed in the pancreas, his body became poisoned, and as a result, his legs stopped functioning. Currently, Artyom is undergoing rehabilitation and relearning how to walk.

Experts emphasize that consuming energy drinks excessively, especially on an empty stomach, can cause serious damage to the pancreas, heart, and blood vessels. It is important to remember that these drinks can pose a health risk.
