The UK Ministry of Defence has introduced new security rules for military personnel. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
From now on, military personnel are strictly prohibited from discussing official or confidential topics in their own cars. This was reported by the Daily Mail.
This decision was made due to the risk of espionage activities potentially conducted by China and the theft of information through listening devices. According to experts, some modern cars, especially models manufactured in China, have microphones, cameras, and internet-connected sensors that pose a risk of conversations being recorded or transmitted.
Special warning stickers have now been installed on service vehicles of the British Army. These stickers bear the inscription "Avoid discussing official information in the car."
This measure has been introduced to protect military secrets and strengthen the culture of information security. In recent years, the British government has intensified information security measures against Chinese companies.
For example, the use of Huawei equipment in 5G networks was previously restricted. Such security measures are aimed at protecting the country's information systems.
