12 people died in the fire in Turkistan

A fire that broke out this morning in the village of Algabas in the Turkistan region of Kazakhstan claimed the lives of 12 people. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

It was reported that among the deceased were 9 children. The fire engulfed a two-story house and spread very quickly.

Rescuers found three people unconscious at the scene and immediately took them to the hospital. Their condition is currently reported to be serious.

According to neighbors, an event was held at the house yesterday and there were many guests. The investigation is also examining this circumstance.

Kazakhstan's President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev expressed deep condolences over this tragedy and instructed the government and regional authorities to provide assistance to the families of the deceased and injured. The causes of the fire are currently being investigated.
