Trump's Sharp Statements on Mexico and Venezuela
US President Donald Trump returned to the international spotlight at the latest press conference held in Washington. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

His sharp statements regarding Mexico and Venezuela sparked heated discussions not only among political circles but also among all parties monitoring the situation in the region. According to Trump, the fight against drug trafficking on Mexican territory is not yielding sufficient results.

He did not rule out the possibility of a military strike on Mexican territory to stop the flow of drugs if necessary. The President stated that the US is ready to take "all necessary measures" to limit drug trafficking.

According to Trump, such operations would help save the lives of millions of people. At the same time, the increased US military presence in the Caribbean region is also causing various debates.

Since August, US naval vessels have been conducting continuous patrols in Latin America to combat drug trafficking. While this has raised concerns in some countries, it has intensified political disputes in others.

Trump also expressed strong views regarding Venezuela. He said that if necessary, US troops could enter Venezuelan territory and emphasized that no option is excluded in this regard.

Additionally, Trump accused Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro's regime of sending thousands of Venezuelans, including prison inmates, to the US. Following this statement, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro declared his readiness for diplomatic dialogue and called for a face-to-face meeting with the US.

However, Maduro criticized Washington's policy, noting that the US is trying to change the government in Caracas. The government of Trinidad and Tobago clearly stated its position: they will never allow their territory to be used for military strikes against Venezuela.

It was also announced that the US has not made any official request in this regard. At the same time, American military exercises conducted in the region are causing varied reactions in different countries.

Although the US accuses the Venezuelan leadership of connections with drug cartels, Maduro firmly denies such claims. Meanwhile, since September, US military forces have been conducting operations against ships suspected of drug trafficking in international waters.

As a result, it is reported that more than 80 people have died. At a time when the situation in the region is becoming increasingly complex, each of Trump's statements is laying the groundwork for new political discussions.

Experts emphasize the importance of dialogue in resolving issues related to drug trafficking, migration, and security.
