Last year, the trade turnover between the two countries amounted to 14 billion US dollars. Currently, nearly 5,000 joint ventures established in cooperation with China are operating in our country.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev spoke about the results and prospects of this cooperation during a meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi. Since the beginning of this year, investments from China totaling 15 billion US dollars have been attracted to Uzbekistan.

In addition, the portfolio of joint technological projects has approached a value of 90 billion dollars. During the meeting, issues related to the Uzbekistan–Kyrgyzstan–China railway project and its connection to international transport routes were discussed.

Furthermore, projects in the fields of "green" energy, nuclear energy, artificial intelligence, transport, infrastructure, and agriculture were also considered. It was also announced that Chinese Culture Days are planned to be held in Uzbekistan at the end of November.

Such events serve to further strengthen cultural ties between the two countries.
