This comic had been preserved inside a cardboard box among old newspapers. Experts rated the condition of the comic as 9 out of 10.
This is considered almost perfect condition. This unique edition was sold at an auction held on November 20 for 9.12 million dollars, becoming the most expensive comic in history.
The previous record holder was a comic featuring Superman's first appearance, printed in 1938, which sold for 3 million dollars less than today's record. Additionally, a new record was set in the field of art.
It was reported that the famous artist Van Gogh's painting titled “Parisian Collections and Roses in a Glass” was sold for 62.7 million dollars. These two events sparked great interest in the fields of art and culture.
