The condition of Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli prisons is increasingly deteriorating. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Although the court has ordered that they be provided with necessary food supplies, many prisoners remain in need. According to some reports, some detainees have lost more than half of their body weight.
Currently, there are more than 10,000 Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons. It has been noted that among them are women and young children.
These prisoners are suffering severely due to extreme hunger, lack of medical assistance, and overall poor care. More than three months have passed since clear instructions were issued by the Supreme Court, yet no significant changes have been observed under the current conditions.
The Israeli prison service has acknowledged that implementing the court's decision is its obligation. However, the special commission established to improve the situation has not yet achieved any significant results.
The issue of protecting the rights of the prisoners and providing them with adequate conditions remains urgent.
