
The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Bangladesh, Sardor Rustamboyev, presented his credentials to the President of Bangladesh, Muhammad Shahabuddin. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
During the meeting, President Shahabuddin emphasized that he regards Uzbekistan as a key partner and a trusted friend in Central Asia. The dialogue included discussions on developing cooperation in trade and investment between the two countries.
In particular, Bangladesh expressed readiness to cooperate in the textile, pharmaceutical, and leather industries. Additionally, the parties reached an agreement to strengthen cooperation in tourism and higher education.
President Shahabuddin highly appreciated the reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan, noting that they serve to enhance the country's international standing. The meeting was held in an open and friendly atmosphere.
