Alibaba Group, one of China's major technology companies, introduced its first AI-powered smart glasses – Quark AI Glasses – on November 27. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The product is produced in two models: the more feature-rich S1 and the lightweight G1. According to Alibaba Vice President Wu Jianing, the smart glasses could take human-computer interaction to a new level.
The device is considered to be as significant as modern smartphones. The S1 model is priced at 3799 yuan (approximately 537 dollars) and is equipped with the Snapdragon AR1 processor.
The device supports functions such as real-time translation, payment processing, navigation, and an interactive assistant. The G1 model, priced at 1899 yuan (approximately 268 dollars), is lightweight and includes only basic functions.
The Quark AI Glasses are expected to compete in the market with Meta’s Ray-Ban Display glasses, as well as devices from Rokid and Xiaomi. While Meta’s glasses feature a color display, Alibaba’s product operates with a monochrome green screen.
Currently, this device is sold only in the Chinese market. There is no information yet about plans for release in foreign markets.
