Putin denied rumors about Lavrov
Russian President Vladimir Putin firmly denied the recent reports claiming that "Sergey Lavrov fell under the president's anger" during a conversation with journalists in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

He called such claims baseless and far from the truth. Putin strongly reacted to these rumors, describing them as "nonsense."

According to him, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov is operating according to his work plan and continues to fulfill the tasks assigned to him. The president stated that Lavrov has not received any reprimand and his work schedule is predetermined.

Putin also added that Lavrov is currently preparing for a meeting with U.S. representatives. In November 2025, some media outlets and social networks circulated reports that Lavrov "received a severe reprimand from Putin."

Some observers even linked this situation to the Russian Foreign Ministry's transition to a new format of "peace negotiations." However, after Putin's public statement on this matter, it became clear that such reports are not true.

Political analysts believe that such false reports often spread during times when serious topics on the international agenda, particularly interest in peace negotiations, increase. However, according to official information, Lavrov continues his activities according to plan and is preparing for the upcoming negotiations with Washington.

This statement once again confirmed the stability of Russia's foreign policy and the absence of any problems in the internal decision-making processes. This demonstrated that the rumors are far from reality.
