LED display dispute over the Ukrainian flag in Bishkek
A large LED display has been installed between the Ukrainian embassy and the new headquarters of the Kyrgyz president – “Intimaq Ordo” – in the capital city of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This situation occurred on the eve of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to Bishkek and the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) summit. According to journalist Grigoriy Pirlik, this multi-story building-height display may have been installed to obscure the national flag at the Ukrainian embassy from the presidential headquarters.

The press service of the Kyrgyz president stated that the purpose of this display is to show state video content and provide visual support for official events. However, some media outlets directly link the installation of the display to Putin’s visit.

Denis Avtonomov, advisor to the Ukrainian embassy, emphasized that he does not deny the incident’s connection to Russia. Political analyst Turat Akimov explained this matter as a security measure by the Russian President’s protection service.

At a press conference following the CSTO summit, Vladimir Putin confirmed that a US delegation would come to Moscow in December to discuss Donald Trump’s peace plan. He stressed that if Russia’s conditions for achieving peace are not met, military actions will continue and their demands will be enforced by armed means.

Andrey Yermak, head of the Ukrainian president’s office, announced that Kyiv firmly rejects Russia’s demands. He emphasized that the Ukrainian Constitution does not allow relinquishing occupied territories and stated that such an option does not exist during Zelensky’s presidency.

According to Yermak, Ukraine is only ready to discuss borders between the warring parties.
