People recruited to the Russian army arrested in South Africa
The police in South Africa have arrested four individuals who were on their way to join the Russian military service. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

They were detained at Johannesburg International Airport. According to the police, these individuals were recruited to the Russian army and invited to join the military service.

The arrest was carried out based on information provided by the airport police. Preliminary investigation results indicate that a woman from South Africa organized the trip of these individuals to Russia and assisted in their recruitment.

Currently, these four individuals are accused of violating the rules regarding assistance to foreign military service and unauthorized participation in a foreign army. They are scheduled to appear in court on Monday.

At the same time, the police are also investigating a case related to 17 South Africans who remained in Ukraine and were later transferred to Russia. South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has ordered a thorough investigation of this incident.

All information uncovered as a result of the investigation is expected to be made public.
