Famous video game developer and a significant figure in the industry, Vince Zampella, passed away at the age of 55. According to local sources, a Ferrari belonging to Zampella lost control just after exiting a tunnel and crashed into a concrete barrier.

As a result of the strong impact, the car caught fire. Zampella died at the scene, and the passenger inside the vehicle was severely injured and taken to the hospital, but it was impossible to save their life.

Vince Zampella holds an important place in video game history. He was one of the founders of Infinity Ward studio, through which the legendary Call of Duty game series was created.

This project attracted the attention of millions of gamers over the years and greatly contributed to the development of the genre. Later, Zampella founded Respawn Entertainment and led the creation of popular games such as Titanfall and Apex Legends.

In recent years, he worked within Electronic Arts and led the development processes of the Battlefield series. Electronic Arts confirmed Zampella's death and recognized him as an inspiring figure who changed the world of video games.

In a company statement: “This is an irreplaceable loss for us. Our hearts are with Vince’s family and loved ones,” it said.

Currently, the police are investigating the causes of the accident. Investigators are working to determine whether technical malfunction or other factors caused the vehicle to lose control on the mountain road.
