Two police officers and another civilian died as a result of an explosion that occurred in Moscow on Wednesday. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The incident took place near the location where General Fanil Sarvarov's car was bombed two days ago. Russian officials link the general's killing to Ukrainian intelligence.
According to information from the Russian State Investigative Committee, the explosive device was triggered when two police officers approached a suspicious person. A criminal case has been opened on charges of killing police officers and illegal transportation of explosive devices in connection with this incident.
Local residents reported hearing a loud explosion and some buildings shaking. According to unofficial Telegram channels, the person who triggered the explosive device also died at the scene.
However, this information has not been confirmed by independent sources. Since the explosion occurred near the place where General Sarvarov was killed, this incident has once again brought security issues to the forefront in Russia.
The event is also attracting attention on the international stage. Ukrainian officials have not yet commented on the matter.
