Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy positively evaluated the negotiations held with US envoys regarding ending the Russia-Ukraine war. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
During the meeting, issues such as new ideas, the format of meetings, and scheduling were discussed. This conversation took place after the announcement of the details of the updated 20-point peace plan agreed upon by US and Ukrainian envoys.
The plan outlines ways to achieve peace with Russia, proposing the withdrawal of troops from Ukraine's eastern regions and the establishment of a demilitarized zone there. The plan also envisages security guarantees from the US, NATO, and European countries in case Russia launches another attack.
The proposal to establish a "free economic zone" in the eastern Donetsk region is also being considered, but this would be implemented on the condition that the area remains under Ukrainian control. These proposals are being examined by Moscow through a Russian envoy sent via the US.
Meanwhile, military actions continue on the battlefield.
