
A major traffic accident occurred in Gunma Prefecture, located in central Japan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
More than 50 vehicles were involved in this incident. As a result, two people died and 26 others sustained injuries of varying degrees.
According to the local NHK television channel, the accident happened on a highway. Preliminary information indicates that the collision was caused by icy road conditions.
At least 10 cars caught fire as a result of the accident. According to emergency services, five of the injured were hospitalized in serious condition.
The remaining 21 people suffered minor injuries. Due to the accident, some sections of the highway were temporarily closed to traffic.
An investigation into the incident is currently underway. Authorities are taking additional measures to ensure road safety.
