
A large quantity of narcotics hidden in boxes intended for Christmas celebrations was seized in the state of Kentucky, USA. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The police found more than 25 kilograms of methamphetamine. According to the information, law enforcement officers stopped a vehicle driven by 23-year-old Jacob Talamantes, who was suspected of drug trafficking.
A specially trained service dog was involved to inspect the vehicle. The dog's reaction indicated the presence of prohibited substances in the car.
Subsequently, suspicious boxes wrapped in Christmas gift paper were found inside the trunk. During the investigation, it was revealed that approximately 25 kilograms of methamphetamine were concealed inside these boxes.
The suspect, Jacob Talamantes, admitted that he planned to bring these narcotics from Iowa and sell them. He has now been formally charged with illegal drug trafficking.
