Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy denied claims that a drone attack was carried out on Russian President Vladimir Putin's home. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
Russian officials had stated that 91 drones were directed at Putin's home located in the Novgorod region. However, Zelenskiy called this report "another lie from Russia."
The Russian side announced that all drones were destroyed and that there were no damages or casualties. Zelenskiy called on the international community not to remain silent while Russian attacks continue.
He reminded that Russia had previously targeted government buildings in Kyiv, emphasizing the importance of defending Ukraine and achieving peace. These events occurred after peace talks between Zelenskiy and former US President Donald Trump in the state of Florida.
Zelenskiy stated that the war could end in 2026, noting that negotiations are ongoing regarding security guarantees, territorial issues including the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant occupied by Russia, and the Donbas region. Currently, Russia controls a large part of Eastern Ukraine, including the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
While Ukraine and the US continue peace negotiations, Russia continues its military actions. Both sides express different views regarding their peace plans.
