The government of Ogun State, Nigeria, has issued an official statement regarding the health of the famous boxer Anthony Joshua following a car accident he was involved in. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the official statement, the athlete and another passenger were immediately taken to a specialized medical facility in Lagos. Detailed medical examinations conducted by doctors confirmed that the condition of both victims is stable.
Neither emergency surgery nor any additional medical intervention was necessary for them. At the same time, a special medical team has been organized to continuously monitor the patients' health.
The Ogun State government announced this information to the public through the BBC. Officials emphasized Anthony Joshua's stable condition and stated that all medical procedures are being carried out in accordance with international standards.
However, this accident also resulted in some losses. It was reported that Anthony Joshua's coaches — Kevin Latif and Sina Gxami — died as a result of the incident.
