A 45-meter tall flagpole was installed at the "Friendship" checkpoint located on the border between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

Landscaping work has also been carried out in this area. This was announced by the Osh city administration.

The project was implemented on the initiative of the mayor of Osh city, Jenishbek Toktorbaev. On Monday, the Kyrgyzstan national flag was raised on the flagpole.

The ceremony was attended by the city mayor, city council chairman Bolot Baetov, deputies, and consuls of neighboring countries. During the event, the infrastructure at the checkpoint was improved and the area was organized.

This project was carried out with the aim of strengthening friendship and cooperation in the border area.
