According to Dmitry Peskov, the Press Secretary of the President of Russia, the exact location of Vladimir Putin's headquarters will no longer be publicly discussed. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This decision was made following reports of a possible attack on the presidential headquarters located in Valday. According to Peskov, under the current circumstances, it is necessary to refrain from providing open information about the president's whereabouts.
Additionally, Peskov stated that evidence regarding the attack involving Ukrainian drones will not be disclosed to the public. He described such actions as "terrorist acts" and emphasized that Russia's position in negotiations concerning Ukraine will become even firmer.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced that Ukraine attempted to carry out an attack on the presidential headquarters in the Novgorod region using 91 drones. According to him, all drones were destroyed by air defense.
However, this statement did not align with information from the Russian Ministry of Defense, which reported that 18 drones were shot down over the region. Vladimir Putin discussed this matter by phone with former US President Donald Trump.
Trump described the incident as a "very bad situation." At the same time, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky sharply rejected Russia's accusations, calling them "Russia's next lie."
According to Zelensky, Moscow is trying to create a pretext for possible attacks on government buildings in Kyiv. This event further intensifies the information confrontation within the conflict between Russia and Ukraine and raises new questions on the international stage.
