
French football club "Mes" defender Tairis Dos Santos suffered severe burn injuries as a result of a fire at the Crans-Montana ski resort in Switzerland. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the club's press service, the 19-year-old footballer is currently receiving treatment in Germany. The incident occurred on New Year's Eve at a bar in the resort.
The fire caused significant damage, resulting in approximately 40 fatalities and over 110 people injured. The official statement from "Mes" club reads: "Our club trainee Tairis Dos Santos sustained serious injuries due to the fire in Crans-Montana.
The footballer was airlifted to Germany and is currently undergoing treatment. The club's management, players, and all staff are deeply saddened by this tragedy.
We express our full support to his family. We will definitely provide additional information regarding the incident as it becomes available." Although Tairis Dos Santos has not yet debuted with the main team of "Mes," he had demonstrated his talent and attracted attention in the youth team.
