Trump did not rule out military pressure on Venezuela
US President Donald Trump did not rule out the possibility of a second military strike related to the situation in Venezuela. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

He made this statement after Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro was captured by the US. According to Trump, if Maduro's government refuses to cooperate with the US, military pressure may continue.

Currently, Nicolas Maduro is held in custody in the US and has been charged with drug trafficking. The start of his trial is expected.

At the same time, the Venezuelan government considers Maduro's detention illegal and emphasizes that he is the legitimate president of the country. Currently, Vice President Delcy Rodriguez has been declared the interim leader in Venezuela.

Trump stated that the main goal of the US is to stop drug trafficking in Venezuela and to reorganize the oil industry. He also noted that the migration flow from Venezuela to the US has influenced these decisions.

US officials emphasize that Venezuela's economy should not be controlled by forces hostile to US interests. The situation in the capital Caracas remains relatively calm for now.

Although some citizens have started stockpiling food as a precaution, city life has not stopped. At the same time, international debates over the legality of US actions are intensifying.

The UN Security Council is preparing to discuss this issue.
