In Thailand, a fortune teller stole a client's phone

The event took place near the Wat Chaymongkol temple. Since the fortune teller was dressed in yellow, a 19-year-old girl named Pim felt sorry for him and asked for a New Year's prediction.
During the session, Udomsap told the girl that she would face misfortune in the coming year and lose a valuable item. He also offered money to prevent this misfortune.
However, when the girl decided not to give him money, the fortune teller stole her iPhone. The girl noticed her phone was missing later and returned to confront the fortune teller.
Although Udomsap denied the accusation, he was caught with the help of bystanders and the police were called. During the investigation, the phone was found in the fortune teller's bag, hidden inside a box of medical masks.
Additionally, his fortune-telling equipment was confiscated. According to police information, Udomsap admitted his guilt, explained his difficult financial situation, and asked the victim not to file a complaint.
The phone was returned to the girl, and the fortune teller was taken to the police station for further investigation.
