The US imports 50 million barrels of oil from Venezuela

The US President Donald Trump administration announced that an important agreement on oil with Venezuela has been reached. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to this agreement, the US may import up to 50 million barrels of crude oil from Venezuela. This decision is of significant importance for the global market, and as a result, an increase in oil supply on the world market is expected.
This led to a nearly 1 percent decrease in oil prices. This agreement is part of the US policy aimed at restoring Venezuela's oil industry.
According to President Trump, the revenues from sales will be under US control and will be spent for the benefit of both Venezuela and the US. This is expected to strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries.
However, China criticized this agreement. The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs accused the US of interfering in Venezuela's internal affairs and assessed this action as contrary to international law.
Analysts predict that China may increase oil imports from countries like Russia and Iran in the future. At the same time, the political situation in Venezuela remains complicated.
Although former President Nicolas Maduro has been detained, his supporters still maintain their influence in power. For now, the US is focusing more on restoring Venezuela's oil industry and ensuring stability in the region rather than on political reforms.
